The project aims to develop a middleware platform as well as a set of software tools to support the development of applications involving heterogeneous sensors. Specifically the Plato platform will support the collection, processing and analysis of data originating from sensors that will enable the development of intelligent applications including the development of BI (Business Intelligence) applications.
